City Life Church is moving... A new partnership is being formed in Swaythling between City Life Church, New Communityand Swaythling Methodist. As a result, City Life Church will be moving its Sunday Morning Celebration from Cantell School to Swaythling Methodist Church in September. The partnership will look to make effective use of the enormous amount of space in the building to reach the local community and beyond. For more information, www.citylife.org.uk
Pat and Iain Anderson run half nights of prayer once a month at Central Hall. These meetings are open to Christians from churches accross Southampton and are a powerful time to pray into what's on God's heart for Southampton, the UK and countries all over the world. Southampton Blitz - 70th Anniversary Commemoration Service: 30th November 2010
Advance notice of a special city-wide service celebrating the rebuilding of the city after the blitz. Please mark the date in your church diary.
The service will take place at St Mary’s Church (which lost its roof on that date in 1940). Seven churches and some 45000 other buildings were destroyed in three days of bombing. We are looking for the right person to join our friendly church based Noah's Ark Pre-school practitioner’s team of Kings Church - Southampton. We have a reputation for being very friendly and welcoming to all and usually have more children than places available. The pre-school operates 5 morning sessions per week for 38 weeks per year. You will have a minimum CACHE NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, previous experience will be beneficial, but not essential. Central Hall Manager: Full time: starting September 2010 We are looking for someone to promote the profile and profitability of commercial events and increase our community connections. As Central Hall Manager you will be responsible for the wide range of activities we host, building security and maintenance of all that occurs on the premises.
You will be working to tight deadlines and liaising with a variety of people, so the ability to multi-task and work in a team are crucial. Experience of computer software systems is desirable along with an understanding of marketing concepts and strategy. CAN YOU HELP?: Accommodation needed: 2 weeks in July: 2 adults, 1 child
A family from Egypt will be coming to Southampton with their 5 year old child to have heart surgery at Southampton General Hospital. (God willing in the next few days) When the child is discharged from hospital, July 6th-7th, they will need accommodation for the couple and their child for two weeks before returning to Egypt.

Student Work Internship: King's Community Church: Part-time King's Community Church has a vacancy for a male graduate to join their student team in September for a one year internship. Responsibilities will include co-ordinating and developing our work with students in the Southampton universities, in particular with the guys.
