City Life Church is moving...
A new partnership is being formed in Swaythling between City Life Church, New Community and Swaythling Methodist. As a result, City Life Church will be moving its Sunday Morning Celebration from Cantell School to Swaythling Methodist Church in September. The partnership will look to make effective use of the enormous amount of space in the building to reach the local community and beyond. For more information, www.citylife.org.uk
Half night of prayer: Central Hall (by back entrance): 10 pm - 2 am

world heart90Pat and Iain Anderson run half nights of prayer once a month at Central Hall. These meetings are open to Christians from churches accross Southampton and are a powerful time to pray into what's on God's heart for Southampton, the UK and countries all over the world. Southampton Blitz - 70th Anniversary Commemoration Service: 30th November 2010

blitz woolston90Advance notice of a special city-wide service celebrating the rebuilding of the city after the blitz. Please mark the date in your church diary.

The service will take place at St Mary’s Church (which lost its roof on that date in 1940). Seven churches and some 45000 other buildings were destroyed in three days of bombing. We have a reputation for being very friendly and welcoming to all and usually have more children than places available. The pre-school operates 5 morning sessions per week for 38 weeks per year. You will have a minimum CACHE NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, previous experience will be beneficial, but not essential. We are looking for someone to work 2 possibly 3 morning sessions per week during term time. The hourly rate for this position is £6.38 to £7.55 depending on experience and qualification. (God willing in the next few days) When the child is discharged from hospital, July 6th-7th, they will need accommodation for the couple and their child for two weeks before returning to Egypt.
